Princess League (Quarterly)
In our continuous efforts to develop and promote rhythmic gymnastics from grassroots to the elite level in Malaysia, the SRGC Princess League (PL) was initiated with the aim to improve opportunities for amateur and professional gymnasts from locally and internationally to compete consistently in an organised competition year-long, while gaining experience and talent. Malaysia’s first and premier rhythmic gymnastics league, PL offers competitive rhythmic gymnastics for participating individuals and clubs in Malaysia and across Asia. Hosted and organised by SRGC Events, the league runs 3 seasons per year featuring both local and international competition format; MGF and FIG respectively, with the last completed season seeing top finalists from each division competing in the Princess Cup©. The series of competition is open to specific ability-age groups across 6 local divisions and 7 international divisions participating in 6 individual apparatus events.
Through our partnerships with the Ministry of Youth and Sports (KBS), Ministry of Education (MOE), Olympic Council of Malaysia (OCM) and Malaysian Aesthetic Group Gymnastics Association (MAGGA), PL strives to ensure greater access and inclusive opportunities for young women and girls to participate and achieve their potential. Inspired by our vision of “Empowering Youth”, SRGC is truly committed in shaping young champions through well-designed methodologies, harnessing the expertise and IR4.0 technology that are available in the world of sports today to scale, identify and engage with potential talents.
